Dear TSA Members, Family and Friends:
The Congressional Tourette Syndrome Caucus in partnership with the National TSA is sponsoring a staff briefing; entitled, "Understanding Tourette Syndrome and Making Connections."
The briefing will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Presentations will be given by affected families, scientists working on breakthroughs, doctors who treat TS, and educators knowledgeable on the accommodations that can help students with TS get a better education.
The intent is to help federal elected officials and government agencies understand how they can become involved in addressing the complex needs of individuals and families living with TS. So that we can seek stronger support and understanding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the US Department of Education (DOE) and other federal agencies to advance work on TS; let's use this unique opportunity to educate and influence our government.
Ask Congress to support the Congressional Caucus and its activities on TS
