Have you or your child experienced a teacher(s) that just didn't understand what Tourette Syndrome really is? Did they think and treat your child as a "problem" child choosing to not be a role model student? Thought your child was lazy or didn't care? Thought you simply didn't know how to "parent" your child?
That has happened to many, many, many families. One of the vital services that TSA-IL provides are trained advocates to present information about TS and co-morbid conditions to teachers and staff in schools.
We are in desperate need of additional presenters. Click here for additional information, to find out how you can help educate others about TS in a casual fun setting on Sunday, Sept. 8th!. Please register prior to Sunday so we have enough materials for everyone!
Becoming a trainer is not a big commitment - it's completely flexible and up to you!
